Ivan is in Hospital and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
A reminder that the AGM is taking place on the 18th January at 8pm at the community center, the subs are due after the meeting.

Happy Christmas and a Happy New year to all our club members and supporters. May 2012 be as successful as 201113 December 2011
Some maintenance work has been carried out on the launching area to enable members that found it difficult to get to the
water. Our last meeting of the year is on 21 st December it is the Christmas party and bring and buy sale so please attend.23rd November 2011
In the December meeting on the 21st we will be holding our Christmas party and bring and buy sale, the Annual lunch will be held
early next year at a venue to be decided. In January the AGM will be held usually at the first meeting I will keep you informed.
Mel has asked me to remind you that the new club clothing has been issued and will members not yet recieved there orders

The event at the Bonded Warehouse was enjoyed by everyone the weather was sunny, some dogging of the narrow boats
was done but this is normal when sailing on the canal, because of a small area to display the boats were scattered about t
he area this gave the public more than one place to view them. We wish to thank Colin who invited us and hope that it is not a one off.
Members are reminded that this months meeting is on Wednesday 19th so please attend.

The Club has been invited to attend the Craft Fair at the Bonded Warehouse, Stourbridge on the weekend of the 15th and 16th October,
We can sail in the basin and display our models under cover along side the canal, there will be food and drinks available at a small cost.
Any members attending please arrive before 9am as the road will be closed after this time to allow the vintage cars to setup.This is the first time we have been invited so a good display would be appreciated. Link to there web site http://thebondedwarehousestourbridge.co.uk/

The club has decided to introduce new club clothing and a new logo ( the logo on this web site will be changed when the artwork is
obtained) full details will be given by Mel at our August meeting on the 17th. Sunday morning waterside meetings have started at last,
they were delayed because of a very busy June and July, we would like to thank Heather our local councilor for her efforts in changing
our lease with the council she has also put plans forward to improve the landing stage area with steps down to the waterside to assist
our disabled members. Please remember that the Enville Show is on the 29th August we meet up at the ground at 10-10.30 am to set up.

The West park show was again a great success the weather was mixed but not bad, we all had some good sailing and chats with
members of the other clubs attending. Will all members please attend the June meeting as there are a number of events to discuss
that occur before the July meeting, they can be found on the calendar page.

Ivan has arranged a visit to Jotika in July, this is on a Saturday morning at approx 10.30 at the factory. The club has also been invited to
Kingsbury Water MBC both will be discussed at our May meeting to be held on the Wednesday 18th. Please put in you diary, Sunday
morning sailing starts in June the date is on the calandar page.

calandar page, this is always a fun day with a chance to meet other Model Boat Clubs and have a chat.

Last night the AGM took place, nominations took place for the committee this remained unchanged except for the event organizer
who unfortunately had to stand down due to personal circumstances he still remains a member of the club. The clubs fees remained
the same due to a healthy bank balance, the few members not present will be asked if they wish to stay in the club as the MPBA fees
are due, we know of one member who has left the club for health reasons.
This year we have been invited to attend some more local shows, etc,details will be put onto the calendar page when the details
are known.

Sunday morning sailing will start on the 5th June due to the restrictions put on sailing because of the wildlife's breading season.
The members wish to give the committee a big thank you for all the work they've done in the past year and may the club continue
to grow.

Welcome to 2011 the club hopes all our visitors have a very happy and prosperous new year.
The AGM this year has been brought forward to January 19th , there will be a need to nominate and vote for a new committee as some ofthe committee will not be re-standing, will all interested parties please put there names forward before that date.
It is important that all members attend, letters have been sent with a copy of the clubs accounts. You are also reminded that the
2011subs will be due.
Since the beginning of December no sailing has been done due to the extreme weather conditions, the lake has been frozen continually
and still is, lets hope the weather warms up soon.
